Is medical marijuana legal in Nevada?
Yes. Patients with chronic or debilitating conditions can legally use marijuana and its related paraphernalia if a physician has prescribed it for their symptoms. You just need to register with the state, provide the required medical and identification documents, and pay the $200 registration fee.
If your application is approved, you can legally be in possession of one of the following at any time: one ounce of marijuana, three mature plants, or four immature plants. Growing marijuana for your own private medical use is allowed, as long as you do not exceed these limits.
